The Legacy
Posted for: RAYMOND EUGENE JOHNSON:
Major Johnson,
We never met, but I know of you through your sons. Scott and Tim were the new kids on the block when your family first moved into Pine Hills, but rest assured they grew up surrounded by friends. From school to scouts, our neighborhood did everything as an extended family. My only regret is that we don't see more of each other today.

I always had wondered about your fate, but never felt it was my place to ask about details. Reading about you on this site moved me to state that your sacrifice was not in vain; your sons grew up well. You would be very proud of them both today. We all strive to leave this world a better place...that you have done with Scott and Tim. They are your legacy.
