Best Friend Senior Year 1965

Hi Bron,

What a great senior year we spent together. We were fraternity brothers, and loved to party and have a good time. It was a shock to me when you told me that instead of college you had chosen the Marines.

A year later we met at a wedding party, and you comforted me on the loss of my brother.  Again, you shocked me by telling me you were going to return to Nam for a second tour. You never came back. I never quite knew what to say to your parents and girlfriend. I tried to comfort them, but your loss was too profound.

I will forever remember your smiling face, fierce spirit and commitment to life.

I Love you my brother...
