We have never forgotten you
Posted for: JOHN DOUGLAS THRASHER:

I never got to meet you, but you were always so special to our family. We always knew about our cousin Douglas that died in Vietnam. My mom talks about you driving your mustang before you re-enlisted and you were so somber. You had changed. The war had changed you. You were no longer carefree and wild. You were reserved and serious. You had a job to do and you were willing to do it without fear of the consequences. I thank you for having the courage to sacrifice yourself so that others may live. God Bless You. You will never be forgotten!
