I am Richard Hernandez Jr., son of Richard Hernandez who is the brother of Manuel. I was almost two years old when Manuel was killed in Vietnam. I don't remember him, other than pictures and stories from my aunts' and father. My son, Richard Manuel Hernandez was named after him and has just returned from Iraq. I served in Iraq as well. Our family, The Hernandez', continue to serve our Country and will never forget Manuel, whom made the Ultimate Sacrifice. Manuel was my uncle and I'm proud of that!
