I often browse this site, checking on new postings for my Uncle, Thomas E. Grix, KIA 12/15/67. I usually click a few names and read their remembrances to keep myself aware of their sacrifices so long ago. Just by chance I clicked on Maj. Coats' name and read his remembrances. After reading such touching remembrances I was filled with pride to know that my uncle may have been accompanied by such a loved individual. I will say a special prayer for Maj. Coats and his family today. Thanks!
