I still remember our lives in high school, the times we had, and knowing both of us were going to go to NAM and both knowing only one of us was going to come back....we just didnt know which one. we almost got to see each other in-country before you went and it was at least good that we got each others letters. it amazes me that i knew when you were killed, even before i heard about it. i wrote you since, still talk to you, and you are welcome for the many times i still visit your grave and talk with you and straighten it up. i havent seen the wall yet, perhaps someday. i still enjoy stopping by during the holidays and whenever i am in town. you will never leave Tom, you are always here, but i miss you so.
the loss of all our brothers and sisters weighs heavy and strengthens me also.
