Dear Karl,
At Gridley High School in Gridley, IL, we as students have the opportunity to recognize those we fought in Vietnam. During the war you risked losing your life and left your family and possessions to fight for your country. That shows how committed, brave, and loyal you are to your country. You made the ultimate sacrifice, and for that you will never be forgotten. That sacrifice is something that should and will be recognized and admired. Thank you for everything you did.
